Each year on the 1st Saturday in May, since  1985  the Udora Leaskdale Lions Club holds their annual Canoe River Run.    Sponsorship money is donated to a variety of local causes. Each year the lions club selects a different recipient for the funds.

Enjoy natural beauty, serenity, and abundant wildlife as you paddle through the central Ontario wetlands.   Be sure to bring your camera, to catch the wildlife in action.  The River run is 14 km long and starts from Zephyr Road in the south and  ends near the falls in Pefferlaw.

Due to COVID-19 the 2021 Canoe River run has unfortunately been cancelled.

However after May 1st, 2021.

The River will be available for your use.

Please consider making a donation to the Udora Leaskdale Lions Club

Donations will be collected and provided to a local food banks.

Donations may be made via e-transfer to   or at the General Store in Udora.
